ooc

I am bored and don't have any post ideas, so question meme.

You ask me a question about my characters, I answer and ask you one about yours in return, we keep going in that pattern until one of us can't think of any questions anymore, etc.

What is up with Saiga's hair. I know you have an explanation for how her hair is two-toned.

You're absolutely terrible.

To be honest, while there is the whole running joke about the Samasus being short, there are quite a few taller Samasus-- Seku himself is actually around... 5'8"-5'10", due to European genetics squashing out the Japanese ones. I'm never very specific, I should use a height chart one day.

The average probably actually is more around 5'5"-5'6" for most of them. Suguru's hilariously the tallest out of all of the ones I currently have at a good 5'7". Setsuo and Shinji are the shortest at around 5'1". As for the first two I've ever had-- Shikou and Souha, they middle around 5'3", though Souha is, at this point, slightly taller than Shikou for reasons.

What about Tatsuki? I always imagine her to be a tiny thing. Is she actually? Will she ever get to be tall enough that one can't simply stop her from beating someone up by holding her back at arm's reach?

Well thank heavens for that, last thing we need is a 6-foot girl being able to pound everyone into the ground.

Basically you're asking how it resolved? Let's start in the beginning, at least in terms of UOF's plans and how it started: Basically, there was a family who dabbled in occult stuff and demon summoning cause they felt like they should be the ones who lorded over everyone. They were really bad at the whole demon thing though but finally managed to get UOF's attention. So he gave them power and whatnot in exchange for servitude when they were dead and made them all go kinda crazy.

UOF's main intention though was to build up a MASSIVE army to perform a coup upon the Archfiend family in Makai, and had actually been beaten back before at one time. He decided though that with all of the recent activity in Domino and the whole collecting of souls to turn into his monster army was going too slow, that he'd try to get other people under his power and speed up the process. So he sent some servants ahead to make him appear in Domino cause he was literally too large to fit through the dimensional rip.

The Archfiends were really smart though and realized, oh crap, UOF's doing something again, and sent along Archfiend of Gilfer (who I might use again one day cause he was so hammy it was wonderful) to investigate things, and dragged in some folks (Juudai, Shiyoko, Sanshi) to take care of things. And then Sanshi and Juudai literally obliterated UOF and left him with only his soul hanging around.

And then Noriko, being a woman of opportunity, essentially went "yoink" and took the soul, and as a result, the cosmic contract that was on all of the Samasus. For all purposes, UOF is dead, and none of the Samasus have to worry about Noriko doing what UOF planned-- namely wearing away at their will and consciousness while turning them into monsters once they ended up in what was basically hell. A good majority of the servants that were under him passed on as a result of it, cause she gave them the opportunity to do so, and most any of the ones currently around take care of Noriko's mansion in Domino.

So, how's Misaki's business doing? Does Setsuo still work for her? It's always weird when characters go into what is essentially limbo and there's a connection.

Setsuo can still work for her he needs a fairly steady job at least that won't cause him to create blackouts. You should do a ramble about the Haze Beasts, those guys are cool.

Noriko is still keeping the contract going, just with some minor modifications for eventualities-- in fact, she's stronger than UOF by all rights due to what she is, and is feeding more power into all of them. Half because she's got more to spare, but also half because there's a learning curve for adjusting the flow, and has never really realized it. This is actually going to end up coming into play in the near-future, with how it's affected current ones as well.

Hrrm, what does Tatsuki intend on doing, anyway? She realizes that she's in the past, but does the possibility of ever going back to her own time occur to her? Has she wondered just how she's going to do that, if at all?

He actually likes working in the shop-- though mainly that's because his dad is trying to teach him numbers and stocks and everything and it's so utterly boring that he likes running around in retail a lot more. In comparison, doing counter service and everything else is fun.

Is Tatsuki the type who's so proud, that she'd never want help from others? As well, I remember that we did once do a duel with her and Sadame. How much did it piss her off that he barely reacted through it all?
thefrozenstorm: (Hurt)

[personal profile] thefrozenstorm 2012-12-11 07:41 am (UTC)(link)
At the least, if she dueled him now, he'd react better. He had a lot of issues that had to be let out through the Numbers possession.

The Samasus somehow have this weird thing where they all have S-names that can be spelled with three hiragana. So-u-ha. Shi-ko-u. Se-tsu-o. ect. The only one who's weird is Saikou, since she's Sa-i-ko-u, but that's because she's plain weird.

Hmm, I'd say it's a toss-up. The difference between favorite to play and favorite concerning how their powers affect them can change. Say... Shikou's fun to play, but his actual abilities (the terrakinetic bits) are underutilized for various reasons. It doesn't make him less fun to use though, and he has other parts that affect him vastly.

But then there's characters like Sadame, whose powers affected him more when he was alive. Basically, before he died, his time-abusing abilities manifested as precognitive abilities in the worst way. It made him afraid to get close to people, because he'd start predicting bad and terrible things happening to them. It was actually a big step for him that he fell in love, even though he constantly got the feeling that the lady he married to was going to die-- and die she did, and things went pear-shaped for him. But it's interesting and fun to consider how all of that affected him in the long term, and how he acted before his sense of self got worn into bits.

I think one of my future fun ones is gonna be Shinji though, when it comes to powers, without saying too much. Right now I'm gonna focus on the fact that he has a similar spirit-communication ability like Ruka does.

What are the E-Heroes Saiga would "favor" the company of more? Like, say, does she feel more comfortable in the company of Burst Lady more sometimes, or does she enjoy some Batman Bubbleman more? Or what, really.

[personal profile] thefrozenstorm 2012-12-11 07:59 am (UTC)(link)
I'm not very fashion-sensey, but the thing to know about the Samasus is that they have this weird. Psychological attraction towards certain colors-- sometimes even out of nowhere colors you wouldn't expect. Like, Sadame's a LIGHT-type but his attraction color is more like mint-green. Souha's of course red, but he constantly wears black turtle-neck sweaters, because he A) likes the warmth, and B) covers him more.

If I had to give more specific notes on fashion preferences between some characters, it's that Suguru has gained a bit of a preference for more silk-like fabrics without being too fancy. Shian really likes long coats and only likes the colder weather because it gives them an excuse to wear them. Sadame likes button-ups, and Shikou likes more uniformy-style clothes.

Not specific to any characters, but do you feel that there's an ongoing E-Hero comic book currently in DAverse? If you had to come up with a storyline for it, what would it be?
thefrozenstorm: (Default)

[personal profile] thefrozenstorm 2012-12-11 08:06 am (UTC)(link)
Out of any of them? Shinji would be the one to give it a go the most, since he likes things involving spirits. Sanshi would be another one because he's a total nerd on the inside and just never wants to admit it. He's the type who has like a giant secret stash of media stuff and keeps it perfectly hidden from the world.

You might've answered this once, but what's Saiga's favorite comics?

Suguru's lovelife is in a weird state, mainly because Corvus is essentially Schrodinger's cat in terms of existing in the game. BUT I WILL DRAG HIM BACK YET I actually got him curious about the Haze Beasts cause they're excellent.

Officially though she's engaged to Geo and they intend on moving in together, but I'm using the excuse that they still have to save up money in the meantime to keep her out of limbo.

In terms of everything in general for her though she's kicking herself cause she seems to have grown the habit of falling into people's personal issues without knowing them first. IT KINDA BUGS HER.

Has Hikari ever had someone she's been interested in, during her time in schooling and whatnot?

[personal profile] thefrozenstorm 2012-12-12 12:33 am (UTC)(link)
Mentioning Gemu honestly makes Linka make sad faces and go play games until she stops thinking. :(

Would Tatsuki go crazy if she were ever in a situation where she ABSOLUTELY MUST NOT punch someone's lights out?
cattack: (i'm okay with dere after all)

[personal profile] cattack 2012-12-12 02:38 am (UTC)(link)
d'awww linka :(

VERY POSSIBLY depending on the why of absolutely must she might anyway.

Though as a note, her cuffs restrict her arm movements if she tries to punch with serious intent to harm, which is why she does kickboxing and tae kwon do instead. LOOPHOLES MOTHERFUCKERS.

Is Souha ever going to get over his water problems, do you think?
thefrozenstorm: (huh?)

[personal profile] thefrozenstorm 2012-12-12 04:01 am (UTC)(link)
There were once attempts to get Souha to get over his phobia, but... they ended poorly. Honestly, Souha WISHES they could stop being so scared of water, but they honestly freeze up whenever they try to. It's like an insurmountable wall.

If Tatsuki had to do something arguably villainous in order to go back to her own time, would she refuse, or take it and try to justify it instead?
cattack: (What is this I don't even.)

[personal profile] cattack 2012-12-12 12:25 pm (UTC)(link)
It honestly depends on context and what was going on! If it was OBVIOUSLY villainous she probably wouldn't but if it was something that requires thinking to realizing it, she is very much the act first think later type.

Who among yours would be most likely to turn villainous? How/why?
thefrozenstorm: (Annoyed)

[personal profile] thefrozenstorm 2012-12-12 06:42 pm (UTC)(link)
Let's be frank: Shikou is already a villain, he's just a benevolent one. He's got a space god or something inside of him that basically already won, and it's only because Shikou's more reactionary than active that he hasn't really done anything on the megalomania part. As a result he becomes more the enemy of other villains because those villains are trying to ruin what he sees as his responsibility.

Other characters most likely to be villainous are Souha (cause really it's amazing they haven't snapped by now and just tried to burn down the world in a blaze of glory) and Shinji (for REASONS).

Hilariously enough on the other hand, neither Shian or Sanshi would ever be villainous, despite being DARK-sorts and generally having a lower moral threshold. In fact, they're more positioned to be protagonists at this point! But on that same note due to GX's whole "nurturing darkness/light of destruction" deal, neither Setsuo or Sadame would be villainous either, despite being LIGHT-types-- they're just a little bit on the wayside of emotionally unstable.

Does Saiga ever accidentally remind herself of all of her bad decisions and desire to hit her head, or does she get out the overcoming wave of stupidity shame by doing something more constructive.

Also does she have any pictures of herself of around when she just entered DA, and get regularly baffled at the differences?
