It was back in the day when Kanna was around. She was trying to get over Juudai since Juudai was taken and Kanna was there and nice and hit Saiga in the dere buttons.

SAIGA IS THE BAD DECISION DINOSAUR QUEEN she would seriously consider a real relationship there because Yasu's nice, accepting, they get along well, and all that. She has no clue how to do dating things so she is trying to figure it out as she goes along, but she likes Yasu a lot.

Conflicted, pretty much obviously. He likes both Saiga and Yasu, and though he pursued Saiga to some extent in the past, he's mostly accepted that they don't really have that much chemistry. On the other hand, he's found he has a lot of chemistry with Yasu, who currently tops Erland's list of 'ones that got away'. So while Saiga/Yasu is hot, and has a decent amount of potential in various ways, he's more likely to be a direct rival to Saiga than anything.

...man, I don't really know who you play anymore, you need to make a list. Uh. Does Tatsuki like the idea of having an enemy? And how about Hikari, what is she up to?

Saiga, Misaki, Tatsuki is pretty much the list now.

Tatsuki likes the idea of having an enemy more than actually having one, if that makes sense. She is a HERO and she WINS, or at least that is how it works in her head, but Erland demonstrated pretty handily that her 'run in flailing' strategy is not really that great. She would have liked it a lot more if she had won that, but Erland won that and got away, so she is feeling pretty humiliated by that, and that is not even close to fun. SHE WILL WIN NEXT TIME. (spoilers: she won't.)

Hikari's off in Tokyo at either some sort of advanced med school, or already getting a doctoring license. PUTTIN' HORRIBLE DEATH SUPERPOWERS TO GOOD USE.

Does Erland ever still get Erebus-y urges, or is he entirely divorced from that past now?

Oh boy. Erland is actually getting more and more tempted as the days go by. He isn't to the point that he'd go full-out Erebus again, having his girls does keep him grounded enough for that, but as the bout with Tatsuki, and the whole deal with the ritual cult thing, Erland is definitely not done with urges yet. He's actually gearing up to an extent, and having Dark Mist around hasn't helped those urges at all...

I think it's been said, but would Tatsuki be aware of herself at all if the cuffs and such were removed? Would she have access to any portion of the power if only part of the seal was broken?

The seal is basically an all-or-nothing function. If part of it is broken, the other parts try to use the now-unused power to power the fuck up and keep shit sealed anyway. This works somewhat- It is an incredibly temporary measure, and is basically there to keep shit restrained while someone who can comes and repairs the broken seal. On the other hand, if this happens and no one comes to fix it, it's basically got a gaping hole in it and throwing all of its power into that hole, so it's just going to wear and erode itself away faster.

If the seal came off, no, Tatsuki really wouldn't know any of it. From her point of view, it would basically feel like she was asleep and having a really hazy bad dream. She wouldn't be aware of anything past a vague feeling of unrest and unhappiness, but be too fogged and hazy to understand any of it.

Other than the Saiga and Yasu thing, is Erland looking to add anyone else to his harem? Who all is in it?

Right now Erland has Vidya and Shiyoko as wives, Umu (who's effectively dropped) as a fiancee, and Setsu and Jasumi as 'probably's. He's after Niyo, mainly since he's known her since she was a mook, and he doesn't want to see her wind up alone. Also she raises dragons, and Erland is rather fond of the little wyrm she's already brought.

Did Saiga have any luck with love while she was overseas?

Nope. She hung out with her group but she didn't really fall for anyone, no matter how much the rock star tried to tease them all about it.

Though in her case, I think 'successfully avoiding' might count as luck?

Erland mostly thought that one in particular was cute, but his 'bad guy' side does like the idea of having pet dragons by his side, and potentially at his command.

On that note, how does Tatsuki feel about dragons. With her dad and all...

She likes dragons, but not really that much? They're cool in the same way wolves or hawks are cool, but she doesn't care that much. She's actually got a thing for SPACE in the same way Ryuuji has his thing about dragons.

Is there anyone in the game who can actually scare Erland?

That's pretty situational and depends on the level of 'scare'. Generally speaking, the only thing that can really scare Erland is something happening to one or more of his girls, or possibly a rogue Xenoi. He does have his ring which, if stolen, does worry him, but I don't think it's 'scare' so much as 'worry, then rage'.

Ryuuji's basically traveling between worlds in the future, so she misses seeing the views from a bunch of different worlds! She feels like she is missing something important now that she is stuck just in one place.

What's Theresa been up to? I haven't seen her about in ages, though I admit I have not been paying attention.

Theresa is sadly stuck in a rut. A comfy but well worn rut. She tends to stay in Erland's world, only venturing as far as inside of Ascendancy when the mood strikes her. She can be coaxed farther out, but if it starts to get even a little dark she'll try to head home at the earliest opportunity.

Well, I guess there has been one little change: she's become Vidya's lab assistant.

A magic knight from a fantasy setting! Dishonored and 'fallen' knight (hence the username) because she was framed for treason. Currently played in an amnesia game where she is competing for a wish to clear up that dishonor because fuck everything.

Her character arc, in as much as she has one, is basically that she admired her grandfather, who was a magic knight as well, so she put everything she had in her childhood into becoming a badass awesome magic knight, to the expense of everything else. So she has no social life, no social abilities, has trouble with people, is pretty gullible, and was basically incredibly easy to frame. But almost painfully Lawful Good.

Slightly oddball question: Has Erland ever played Mario 2?

Hmm. If he has, I doubt he played it past the first stage or two. He was friends with Linka for a while, and she stayed in his dorm room for... some reason. Possibly Darkness. So it's feasible that he's at least been exposed to the game, but very unlikely that he's sought it out.

Am I right to assume questions about dropped characters are alright?

She is working with the spirit foundation even if I never do anything to live here! It is a living and she enjoys being helpful to spirits.

Follow-up to the previous: Is it at all likely that Erland might be the inspiration for the psychotic invincible masks that try to kill you if you have the thing of theirs.

Sadly not, Erebus simply comes too late into the timeline for it to be the inspiration for that part of Doki Doki Panic. It makes a disturbing amount of sense though, doesn't it?

Sadly no, about all I remember of her is when Theresa tried to get her cleaned up and into cute dresses. Seems like Sapphy's fire loving girl, Kizuna, was there at the time too.
